Precarn Management

Successful Innovation through Collaboration.

The Precarn Operations Team reported to and received guidance from an elected Board of Directors.  An external group, called the Expert Advisory Panel, provided guidance and recommendations as to R&D projects to be conducted under the various Precarn funding programs.  Hence, it was the interaction of these three groups that provided management of Precarn:

Expert Advisory Panel at Closure

Every Request for Proposal issued by Precarn resulted in many excellent applications -- often a number in excess of what can be funded. It fell to the Precarn Expert advisory Panel, comprised of people with the expertise, foresight and strong sense of the importance of Canadian R&D, to evaluate these proposals. These people, drawn from academia, industry and government, generously volunteered their time in order to assist Precarn.  Without these people, and those that have served before them, Precarn could not have flourished as we have done.  Thank you to all of the members of the Expert Advisory panel both past and present.
