Oil-Water Separator

Intelligent System Development for Oil-Water Separation Process

The proposal proponents plan to develop an intelligent control system to improve control of the oil-water separation process and to optimize the production of specification-sales oil. The benefits of such a control system will be lower energy consumption, reduced chemical inputs, lower operating costs, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and avoided investment on new treating facilities.
